Who we are

ANONYX (“we”, “us”) operates this website. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, email hello@anonyx.dev.

ANONYX is operated by a sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We don't publish a street address, but every enquiry reaches a real person at the address above, and we answer them ourselves.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to reply to you and keep the site working.

• Contact form. Your name, email address, the budget range you select, the services you tick, and the message you write.
• Chats with NYX. The messages you send to our on-site assistant. These are transmitted to our AI provider to generate a reply.
• Technical data. Your IP address and standard request information, used to apply rate limits and prevent abuse.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to your enquiry. Because you asked us to — you sent the message. Without your email we cannot answer you.
• To answer your questions in NYX. Same basis: you initiated the conversation.
• To keep the site secure and available. Our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse.

We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing you did not ask for, sell your details, or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else processes your data

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They process data on our instructions only.

• Hosting. Serves the website and runs the contact and chat endpoints.
• Email delivery. Delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
• AI provider. Processes NYX conversations to generate replies.

The providers we use are:

• Vercel — hosts the website and runs the contact and assistant endpoints (privacy policy).
• Cloudflare — domain registration and DNS (privacy policy).
• Resend — delivers form submissions to our inbox (privacy policy).
• Microsoft 365 — hosts our mailbox, where your enquiry is stored (privacy statement).
• Anthropic — processes NYX conversations to generate replies (privacy policy).

These providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We have chosen established providers that publish their own data protection commitments.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email for as long as we may reasonably need them — typically while we are in conversation and for a period afterwards in case you come back to us. Rate-limit records are held in memory for a matter of minutes. Ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Email hello@anonyx.dev and we will handle it. There is no charge, and we will not make it difficult.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics later, we will choose a privacy-respecting provider and update this policy before turning it on.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in quietly.
